01 应万变的能力
鸟儿们聚在一起推举它们的国王。孔雀说它最漂亮,应该由它当,立刻得到所有鸟儿的赞成。只有穴鸟不以为然地说:当你统治鸟国的时候,如果有老鹰来追赶我们,你如何救我们呢?
原意:做任何事一定要深谋远虑,才不至于害了自己。
说明:一个哈佛经理,当储备多方才能,不只在才识方面要有过人之处,更当有应万变的能力,如此,不但可服人,并且还能对付不可预知的意外事件。
02 本性难移
一只雌猫爱上一位英俊的青年,就向女神亚福罗迪特祈祷,请求把它变成人的样子。女神被它的真情感动,就把它变成美丽的少女。青年看到这位少女,一见钟情,两人彼此爱慕,就结婚了。
有一天,亚福罗迪特想试探猫在变成人形后性格有没有改变,就在房间里放进一只老鼠。这时,猫忘记自己已经是人,就从床上跳下来,敏捷地捉住那只老鼠,放进嘴里吃掉。女神看了大叹一声,便将它恢复成原来的模样。
原意:一个人即使外貌改变了,性情仍是不易改变的。
说明:江山易改,本性难移,染色的乌鸦,禁不起雨水的冲洗。要了解一个人的本性,须从他日常待人处事的细节上观察,不可只看外表,而遂下结论。
03 量力而行
老鹰从很高的岩石上向下俯冲,用它的利爪抓在小绵羊身上,穴鸟看到了,心想自己一定比老鹰强,就模仿老鹰的动作,飞到绵羊身上,没想到脚爪却被绵羊弯曲的毛给缠绕住,拔不出来。
牧羊人发现了,就跑过去把穴鸟的脚爪尖剪掉,把穴鸟带回去给孩子们玩。孩子们很想知道这是什么鸟,牧羊人说:据我所知,这是穴鸟,但是它却自以为是老鹰。
原意:人不可不自量力。
说明:人各有所长,要了解自己的能力去发展。看到他人名利双收,便想依样画葫芦,是得不偿失的。看他人经营贸易赚钱,忘却自己在个性、专业上不适合,便思自立门户,失败往往接踵而来。
04 合作前的思考
因为狮子的力量大,而野驴跑得很快,狮子野驴便合作一起狩猎。有了丰收后,狮子把猎物分成三等分,说:因为我是万兽之王,所以要第一份;我帮你守猎,所以我要第二份;如果你还不快逃走,第三份就会成为使你丧命的原因了。
原意:知已知彼,百战百胜。
说明:苏秦的连横政策,远交近攻,先并吞最弱国,再并吞次弱国;反之,公司经营,若因为想并占财力微弱的公司而联合比自己财力雄厚的公司,最后通常是得不偿失的。
05 珍惜权力
狮子爱上了农夫的女儿,请求农夫将女儿嫁给它。
农夫既不忍心把女儿许配给猛兽,又不敢拒绝,就想出了一个方法。当狮子来催促的时候,农夫对它说:我很愿意将女儿嫁给你,但她很怕你的尖牙利爪,如果你剪掉它们,我女儿立刻与你结婚。狮子立刻答应了,回去剪掉它的尖牙和利爪。可是如此一来,农夫就不怕狮子了,当狮子再来的时候,农夫就用木棒把它赶走了。
原意:轻易放弃已有的力量是一种不智之举。
说明:一个哈佛经理,切勿轻易放弃自己的实权,否则一旦失去,再要索回,为时已太迟了。
06 未雨绸缪
一只山猪在大树旁勤奋地磨獠牙。狐狸看到了,好奇地问它,既没有猎人来追赶,也没有任何危险,为什么要这般用心地磨牙。山猪答道:你想想看,一旦危险来临,就没时间磨牙了。现在磨利,等到要用的时候就不会慌张了。
原意:防患于未然的工作是绝对需要的。
说明:书到用时方恨少,平常若不充实学问,临时抱佛脚是来不及的。也有人抱怨没有机会,然而当升迁机会来临时,再叹自己平时没有积蓄足够的学识与能力,以致不能胜任,也只好后悔莫及。
07 短暂的快乐
一间蜂蜜工厂的仓库里,洒了很多蜂蜜,吸引了许多苍蝇飞来吃,而且因为蜂蜜太香了,它们都舍不得离开。不久,这些贪吃的苍蝇都因脚被蜂蜜粘住而飞不走了。当它们快溺死时,很难过地说:我们真是太贪心了,为了短暂的快乐,却赔上了宝贵的生命。
原意:美食往往成为许多灾祸的原因。
说明:贪婪是一切祸乱的根源,不论做人处事,都必须戒慎。与人相处,若好贪便宜,必将受人唾弃;经营事业,若好高鹜远,不能本诚信原则慢慢扩张也难长久。
08 能力与待遇
主人将货物分成两份,平均分给驴和骡背,驴看到自己背的东西和骡子一样多,很气愤地说:人们给骡子吃的食物比我多一倍,却让我和它驮负一样重的货物。
走了一段路以后,主人看到驴支持不了,就把它身上的货物移一部分到骡背上。再走了一段路以后,驴更没精神了,又把货物移过去一部分,最后,驴身上空无一物。这时骡子瞪着驴说:你现在还会认为我多吃一倍食物不应该吗?
原意:判断一个人的能力,一定要长期观察,不可逐下评论。
说明:一个组织的工作,可分成例行工作及解决问题的工作。通常是愈富有解决问题性质的工作,工资愈高,但所承受的压力也愈大。有些专做例行性工作的人,却埋怨工资比不上其它人,但他若有机会尝试解决问题性的工作时,就会了解别人是否比他有能力多了。
09 两面人的防范
一只狐狸被猎人追赶,它看到樵夫,赶紧向他求救。樵夫让它躲在自己的小茅屋里。不久,猎人追到,问樵夫有没有看到一只狐狸经过?樵夫既虽然说没有看到,手却指向狐狸躲藏的地方。
可是猎人没有看到樵夫的手势,就离开了。狐狸看到猎人走了,立刻跑出来,没有向樵夫道谢就要离开。樵夫责备它不知感恩,狐狸回答说:如果你的心口如一,我就会向你道谢了。
原意:口蜜腹剑的人不可不防。
说明:笑里藏刀,言行不一致,便是两面人。故事中樵夫嘴里想讨好甲,又想讨好乙;想两边都得到好处。公司里也有许多这种两面人,在大家的面前假装很讲义气、够朋友,但在私底下却揭人隐私,到处告状。
看过上面的故事,相信对于管理者是很有帮助的,很多时候我们不妨换一个心态,换一种思路,得到的或许会比你的预期高出很多。

When buying onions, go for ones that feel heavy in your hand and firm. Avoid soft onions or ones that have a sharp oniony odor before peeling. These are indications that the onion is old. Except for sweet onions, all these onions can be stored for several weeks in a cool, dark pantry or cupboard.
 






Yellow Onions - We consider this the all-purpose onion, and personally, it's the one we use most often. Yellow onions have a nice balance of astringency and sweet in their flavor, becoming sweeter the longer they cook. They are usually fist-sized with fairly a fairly tough outer skin and meaty layers. Spanish onions are a particular kind of yellow onion and we find them to be slightly sweeter and more delicate in flavor.

White Onions - These onions tend to have a sharper and more pungent flavor than yellow onions. They also tend to be more tender and have a thinner, more papery skin. They can be cooked just like yellow onions, but we also like them minced and added to raw salsas and chutneys.

Sweet Onions - Walla Walla and Vidalia are the most common kinds of sweet onions. These onions lack the sharp, astringent taste of other onions and really do taste sweet. They are fantastic thinly sliced and served in salads or on top of sandwiches. They can range in color from white to yellow and often have a flattened or squashed appearance. Sweet onions tend to be more perishable and should be store in the refrigerator.

Fresh juice doesn’t have to be green or full of spinach to be healthy. Pomegranate juice contains more than 100 phyto chemicals. The pomegranate fruit has been used for thousands of years as medicine.
Today, pomegranate juice is being studied for its many health benefits. It may help with cancer prevention, immune support, and fertility.
Here are some of the potential benefits.
1. Antioxidants
Pomegranate seeds get their vibrant red hue from polyphenols. These chemicals are powerful antioxidants. Pomegranate juice contains higher levels of antioxidants than most other fruit juices. It also has three times more antioxidants than red wine and green tea. The antioxidants in pomegranate juice can help remove free radicals, protect cells from damage, and reduce inflammation.
2. Vitamin C
The juice of a single pomegranate has more than 40 percent of your daily requirement of vitamin C. Vitamin C can be broken down when pasteurized, so opt for homemade or fresh pomegranate juice to get the most of the nutrient.
3. Cancer prevention
Pomegranate juice recently made a splash when researchers found that it may help stop the growth of prostate cancer cells. Despite multiple studies on the effects of the juice on prostate cancer, results are still preliminary.
While there haven’t been long-term studies with humans that prove that pomegranate juice prevents cancer or reduces the risk, adding it to your diet certainly can’t hurt. There have been encouraging results in studies so far, and bigger studies are now being done.

Drinking 8 ounces of pomegranate juice a daily may improve learning and memory, according to a recent study.

Pomegranate juice’s concentration of antioxidants and ability to impact oxidative stress make it a potential fertility aid. Oxidative stress has been shown to cause sperm dysfunction and decrease fertility in women. The juice has also been shown to help reduce oxidative stress in the placenta. But researchers don’t yet know the exact benefits this may provide. Drinking pomegranate juice can also increase testosterone levels in men and women, one of the main hormones behind sex drive.
14. Endurance and sports performance
Move over, tart cherry and beet juice. Pomegranate juice may be the new sport performance enhancer. The juice may help reduce soreness and improve strength recovery. It also decreases oxidative damage caused by exercise.
15. Diabetes
Pomegranate was traditionally used as a remedy for diabetes in the Middle East and India. While much is still unknown about the effects of pomegranate on diabetes, it may help decrease insulin resistance and lower blood sugar.
Bottom line
Green juice isn’t the only healthy option out there. Adding pomegranate juice to your diet may reduce your risk for chronic disease and inflammation. It’s also a great way to get the fruit’s nutrients and a boost of antioxidants.

CONCLUSION: Biologically active peptides can be absorbed through the intestine and are biologically active in the body. Short chain peptides, produced by enzymatic and bacterial processes, can act as ACE inhibitors and can lower blood pressures.

Punica granatum L. (Pomegranate) has been claimed to provide several health benefits. Pomegranate juice is a polyphenol-rich fruit juice with high antioxidant capacity. Several studies suggested that pomegranate juice can exert antiatherogenic, antioxidant, antihypertensive, and anti-inflammatory effects. Nevertheless, the potential cardioprotective benefits of pomegranate juice deserve further clinical investigation. To systematically review and meta-analyze available evidence from randomized placebo-controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the effects of pomegranate juice consumption and blood pressure (BP). A comprehensive literature search in Medline and Scopus was carried out to identify eligible RCTs. A meta-analysis of eligible studies was performed using a random-effects model. Quality assessment, sensitivity analysisand publication bias evaluations were conducted using standard methods. Quantitative data synthesis from 8 RCTs showed significant reductions in both systolic [weighed mean difference (WMD): −4.96 mmHg, 95% CI: −7.67 to −2.25, p < 0.001) and diastolic BP (WMD: −2.01 mmHg, 95% CI: −3.71 to −0.31, p = 0.021) after pomegranate juice consumption. Effects on SBP remained stable to sensitivity analyses. when God already sent a plague against them in earlier passage Numbers 14:11 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the miraculous signs I have performed among them? I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them”

God had promised them victory. The land He commanded them to go in and take was already theirs;
they simply had to trust and obey,
But this they did not do and so this faithless generation wandered for 40 years and died

Foods You Can Eat a Lot of and Still Not Gain Weight



Even if you’re crazy about keeping your figure, there are still foods you can eat without limitations. They’re rich in fiber while being low calorie, satiating you without the risk of gaining weight.
We at Bright Side compiled a list of such products. However, you should always make sure that your diet is well balanced with a sensible variety of foods.

Popcorn

Celery

Celery stems are 95% water. They help you lose excess weight and detoxify your body thanks to their diuretic effect.

Eggplant

Oranges, grapefruits, and tangerines

A large amount of fruit is not recommended if you want to lose weight, yet citrus fruits are an exception here. They’re rich in substances like fiber, flavonoids, and vitamin C. These satiate you, help your digestion, liver, and skin, and make you more healthy overall.

Melon and watermelon

With 60-70 kcal per slice, you can eat them day in and day out. These fruits help excrete excess liquid from your body and satiate you well.

Algae

Algae, like laminaria, are the best source of iodine. They help your thyroid function normally, keeping your hormones at normal levels and preventing you from gaining weight.

Zucchini

Beetroot

Berries: currant, cranberry, strawberry

Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower

These veggies are your allies in the fight against excess weight. A portion of diced cabbage is just 7 kcal. You shouldn’t, of course, only eat cabbage and cauliflower, as their nutrients rival with iodine, but you can easily include it a couple of times a week.

If you want to stay slim, it’s best to have dinner 3-4 hours before sleep. So if you go to bed at 11 p.m., you can calmly eat at 7 p.m. If your sleep time begins at midnight, then eating at 8 p.m. is perfectly okay.

We're crazy over all things matcha, all things coconut, and all things chia pudding, so when the three combined in one recipe, we couldn't help but get giddy and excited.

Matcha Coconut Chia Pudding

Coconut oil is an optional ingredient, and you can choose the sweetener of your choice — agave was suggested to keep it vegan, raw honey for Paleo, condensed milk if there are no dietary restrictions. Raw, natural maple syrup is both vegan and Paleo.
Matcha Chia Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon quality matcha powder
3 tablespoons sweetener (agave or honey suggested)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
3/4 to 1 cup chia seeds, depending on preference for thickness

Directions

  • In a blender, blend almond milk, coconut milk, matcha powder, sweetener of choice, vanilla extract, almond extract, and coconut oil until very smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl.
  • Whisk in the chia seeds and chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Stir the pudding, and continue to chill for an additional 4 hours or overnight to let the chia seeds expand.
  • Layer with your favorite fruits or toasted nuts, or enjoy just by itself.

老鹰从很高的岩石上向下俯冲,用它的利爪抓在小绵羊身上,穴鸟看到了,心想自己一定比老鹰强,就模仿老鹰的动作,飞到绵羊身上,没想到脚爪却被绵羊弯曲的毛给缠绕住,拔不出来。
牧羊人发现了,就跑过去把穴鸟的脚爪尖剪掉,把穴鸟带回去给孩子们玩。孩子们很想知道这是什么鸟,牧羊人说:据我所知,这是穴鸟,但是它却自以为是老鹰。
原意:人不可不自量力。
说明:人各有所长,要了解自己的能力去发展。看到他人名利双收,便想依样画葫芦,是得不偿失的。看他人经营贸易赚钱,忘却自己在个性、专业上不适合,便思自立门户,失败往往接踵而来。
04 合作前的思考
因为狮子的力量大,而野驴跑得很快,狮子野驴便合作一起狩猎。有了丰收后,狮子把猎物分成三等分,说:因为我是万兽之王,所以要第一份;我帮你守猎,所以我要第二份;如果你还不快逃走,第三份就会成为使你丧命的原因了。

06 未雨绸缪
一只山猪在大树旁勤奋地磨獠牙。狐狸看到了,好奇地问它,既没有猎人来追赶,也没有任何危险,为什么要这般用心地磨牙。山猪答道:你想想看,一旦危险来临,就没时间磨牙了。现在磨利,等到要用的时候就不会慌张了。
原意:防患于未然的工作是绝对需要的。
说明:书到用时方恨少,平常若不充实学问,临时抱佛脚是来不及的。也有人抱怨没有机会,然而当升迁机会来临时,再叹自己平时没有积蓄足够的学识与能力,以致不能胜任,也只好后悔莫及。
07 短暂的快乐
一间蜂蜜工厂的仓库里,洒了很多蜂蜜,吸引了许多苍蝇飞来吃,而且因为蜂蜜太香了,它们都舍不得离开。不久,这些贪吃的苍蝇都因脚被蜂蜜粘住而飞不走了。当它们快溺死时,很难过地说:我们真是太贪心了,为了短暂的快乐,却赔上了宝贵的生命。
原意:美食往往成为许多灾祸的原因。
说明:贪婪是一切祸乱的根源,不论做人处事,都必须戒慎。与人相处,若好贪便宜,必将受人唾弃;经营事业,若好高鹜远,不能本诚信原则慢慢扩张也难长久。
08 能力与待遇
主人将货物分成两份,平均分给驴和骡背,驴看到自己背的东西和骡子一样多,很气愤地说:人们给骡子吃的食物比我多一倍,却让我和它驮负一样重的货物。
走了一段路以后,主人看到驴支持不了,就把它身上的货物移一部分到骡背上。再走了一段路以后,驴更没精神了,又把货物移过去一部分,最后,驴身上空无一物。这时骡子瞪着驴说:你现在还会认为我多吃一倍食物不应该吗?
原意:判断一个人的能力,一定要长期观察,不可逐下评论。
说明:一个组织的工作,可分成例行工作及解决问题的工作。通常是愈富有解决问题性质的工作,工资愈高,但所承受的压力也愈大。有些专做例行性工作的人,却埋怨工资比不上其它人,但他若有机会尝试解决问题性的工作时,就会了解别人是否比他有能力多了。
09 两面人的防范
一只狐狸被猎人追赶,它看到樵夫,赶紧向他求救。樵夫让它躲在自己的小茅屋里。不久,猎人追到,问樵夫有没有看到一只狐狸经过?樵夫既虽然说没有看到,手却指向狐狸躲藏的地方。
可是猎人没有看到樵夫的手势,就离开了。狐狸看到猎人走了,立刻跑出来,没有向樵夫道谢就要离开。樵夫责备它不知感恩,狐狸回答说:如果你的心口如一,我就会向你道谢了。
原意:口蜜腹剑的人不可不防。
说明:笑里藏刀,言行不一致,便是两面人。故事中樵夫嘴里想讨好甲,又想讨好乙;想两边都得到好处。公司里也有许多这种两面人,在大家的面前假装很讲义气、够朋友,但在私底下却揭人隐私,到处告状。
看过上面的故事,相信对于管理者是很有帮助的,很多时候我们不妨换一个心态,换一种思路,得到的或许会比你的预期高出很多。

Yellow Onions - We consider this the all-purpose onion, and personally, it's the one we use most often. Yellow onions have a nice balance of astringency and sweet in their flavor, becoming sweeter the longer they cook. They are usually fist-sized with fairly a fairly tough outer skin and meaty layers. Spanish onions are a particular kind of yellow onion and we find them to be slightly sweeter and more delicate in flavor.

White Onions - These onions tend to have a sharper and more pungent flavor than yellow onions. They also tend to be more tender and have a thinner, more papery skin. They can be cooked just like yellow onions, but we also like them minced and added to raw salsas and chutneys.

Sweet Onions - Walla Walla and Vidalia are the most common kinds of sweet onions. These onions lack the sharp, astringent taste of other onions and really do taste sweet. They are fantastic thinly sliced and served in salads or on top of sandwiches. They can range in color from white to yellow and often have a flattened or squashed appearance. Sweet onions tend to be more perishable and should be store in the refrigerator.

Fresh juice doesn’t have to be green or full of spinach to be healthy. Pomegranate juice contains more than 100 phyto chemicals. The pomegranate fruit has been used for thousands of years as medicine.
Today, pomegranate juice is being studied for its many health benefits. It may help with cancer prevention, immune support, and fertility.
Here are some of the potential benefits.
1. Antioxidants
Pomegranate seeds get their vibrant red hue from polyphenols. These chemicals are powerful antioxidants. Pomegranate juice contains higher levels of antioxidants than most other fruit juices. It also has three times more antioxidants than red wine and green tea. The antioxidants in pomegranate juice can help remove free radicals, protect cells from damage, and reduce inflammation.
2. Vitamin C
The juice of a single pomegranate has more than 40 percent of your daily requirement of vitamin C. Vitamin C can be broken down when pasteurized, so opt for homemade or fresh pomegranate juice to get the most of the nutrient.
3. Cancer prevention
Pomegranate juice recently made a splash when researchers found that it may help stop the growth of prostate cancer cells. Despite multiple studies on the effects of the juice on prostate cancer, results are still preliminary.
While there haven’t been long-term studies with humans that prove that pomegranate juice prevents cancer or reduces the risk, adding it to your diet certainly can’t hurt. There have been encouraging results in studies so far, and bigger studies are now being done.

A comprehensive literature search in Medline and Scopus was carried out to identify eligible RCTs. A meta-analysis of eligible studies was performed using a random-effects model. Quality assessment, sensitivity analysisand publication bias evaluations were conducted using standard methods. Quantitative data synthesis from 8 RCTs showed significant reductions in both systolic [weighed mean difference (WMD): −4.96 mmHg, 95% CI: −7.67 to −2.25, p < 0.001) and diastolic BP (WMD: −2.01 mmHg, 95% CI: −3.71 to −0.31, p = 0.021) after pomegranate juice consumption. when God already sent a plague against them in earlier passage Numbers 14:11 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the miraculous signs I have performed among them? I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them”

God had promised them victory. The land He commanded them to go in and take was already theirs;
they simply had to trust and obey,
But this they did not do and so this faithless generation wandered for 40 years and died
did not see the land Yehovah promised on oath to their forefathers.

Even if you’re crazy about keeping your figure, there are still foods you can eat without limitations. They’re rich in fiber while being low calorie, satiating you without the risk of gaining weight.
We at Bright Side compiled a list of such products. However, you should always make sure that your diet is well balanced with a sensible variety of foods.

Popcorn

If you fry popcorn without butter and sugar (with a little salt, for instance), you can eat it without fear. This way, a portion (about a cup) only contains 31 kcal.

Celery

Celery stems are 95% water. They help you lose excess weight and detoxify your body thanks to their diuretic effect.

Eggplant

A portion of eggplant grilled or baked without oil makes for 24 kcal, so you can enjoy this savory veggie without any limitations.

Oranges, grapefruits, and tangerines

A large amount of fruit is not recommended if you want to lose weight, yet citrus fruits are an exception here. They’re rich in substances like fiber, flavonoids, and vitamin C. These satiate you, help your digestion, liver, and skin, and make you more healthy overall.

Melon and watermelon

With 60-70 kcal per slice, you can eat them day in and day out. These fruits help excrete excess liquid from your body and satiate you well.

Algae

Algae, like laminaria, are the best source of iodine. They help your thyroid function normally, keeping your hormones at normal levels and preventing you from gaining weight.

Zucchini

A portion of zucchini is about 42 kcal. It normalizes your salt-water ratio, improves your intestinal function, and can also be used to lower the energy output of main courses.

Cucumber

An indispensable vegetable for all those losing weight: it helps fight swelling and gets you slimmer without harm.

Beetroot

Eggs

You can eat them at any time of the day, even at night, without fear of gaining weight. Of course, boiled eggs are better than fried ones.

Pineapple

This delicious fruit is the best friend of those who’re losing weight. The bromelain contained within pineapples actively splits fats and helps metabolize proteins.

Apples and plums

One apple is only 50 kcal. It makes you feel satiated and regulates your digestion. Plums are rich in vitamin C and potassium, which maintain your heart and vessels.

Salad

Salad is a great source of folic acid, and you can eat it by the ton: one leaf of lettuce is 3 kcal.

Berries: currant, cranberry, strawberry

Currants and cranberries are rich in vitamin C, and the former is also a diuretic, helping get rid of excess water. Strawberries are very nutritious and help your digestion as well as your cardiovascular system.

Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower

These veggies are your allies in the fight against excess weight. A portion of diced cabbage is just 7 kcal. You shouldn’t, of course, only eat cabbage and cauliflower, as their nutrients rival with iodine, but you can easily include it a couple of times a week.

If you want to stay slim, it’s best to have dinner 3-4 hours before sleep. So if you go to bed at 11 p.m., you can calmly eat at 7 p.m. If your sleep time begins at midnight, then eating at 8 p.m. is perfectly okay.

We're crazy over all things matcha, all things coconut, and all things chia pudding, so when the three combined in one recipe, we couldn't help but get giddy and excited.

Matcha Coconut Chia Pudding

Coconut oil is an optional ingredient, and you can choose the sweetener of your choice — agave was suggested to keep it vegan, raw honey for Paleo, condensed milk if there are no dietary restrictions. Raw, natural maple syrup is both vegan and Paleo.
Matcha Chia Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon quality matcha powder
3 tablespoons sweetener (agave or honey suggested)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
3/4 to 1 cup chia seeds, depending on preference for thickness

Directions

  • In a blender, blend almond milk, coconut milk, matcha powder, sweetener of choice, vanilla extract, almond extract, and coconut oil until very smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl.
  • Whisk in the chia seeds and chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Stir the pudding, and continue to chill for an additional 4 hours or overnight to let the chia seeds expand.
  • Layer with your favorite fruits or toasted nuts, or enjoy just by itself.
