Ezekiel 37:15-28 - 2 House of Israel

The word of YHWH came to me:
"Son of man, take a stick and write on it,
'For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him';
then take another stick and write on it,
'For Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
And join them one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
And when your people say to you, 'Will you not tell us what you mean by these?' say to them,
Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand. When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes, then say to them,
Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. "
My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes. They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever.
I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore. My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Then the nations will know that I am YHWH who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore."

Exodus 24

Moshe took half of the blood and put it in basins; the other half of the blood he splashed against the altar.  Then he took the book of the covenant and read it aloud, so that the people could hear; and they responded, "Everything that ADONAI has spoken, we will do and obey."  Moshe took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, "This is the blood of the covenant which ADONAI has made with you in accordance with all these words." (Yahshuah's Covenant by His blood)Moshe, Aharon, Nadav, Avihu and seventy of the leaders went up;  and they saw the God of Isra'el. Under his feet was something like a sapphire stone pavement as clear as the sky itself.  (Rev 4 John's vision of Heaven and Throne of God) He did not reach out his hand against these notables of Isra'el; on the contrary, they saw God, even as they were eating and drinking.
Now, I think what we are seeing here a prefiguring of the great and future Marriage Feast of the Lamb whereby all Believers will be committed in formal marriage (as opposed to our current state of betrothal), a formal and completed union, to Christ accompanied with a great ceremonial feast. This eating a meal together is yet another indispensable part of the covenant ritual….. it completes the covenant. Once again, our covenant, our union, with Christ is not yet fully complete; but it will be 100% complete upon the formalizing of the Covenant of Christ when we who have accepted the terms of that covenant, faith in Yeshua of Nazareth, sit down at the feet of our Lord and dine with Him at the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

John 8:31-32
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him,
"If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you are truly my disciples and You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Exodus 20:23-26 You are not to make with me gods of silver, nor are you to make gods of gold for yourselves. For me you need make only an altar of earth; on it you will sacrifice your burnt offerings, peace offerings, sheep, goats and cattle. In every place where I cause my name to be mentioned, I will come to you and bless you. If you do make me an altar of stone, you are not to build it of cut stones; for if you use a tool on it, you profane it. Likewise, you are not to use steps to go up to my altar; so that you won't be indecently uncovered.'"

God didn’t even want a permanent Temple to be built…..He only did so because King David was so insistent that he build one
No, I think I can say unequivocally that Yehoveh would rather we serve Him with our obedience than with magnificent structures; that we would use all that money and time it takes to build and maintain beautiful buildings instead to feed the hungry, heal the sick, bless His people Israel, and take the gospel to the world.

The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom: We have heard a report from the LORD, and a messenger has been sent among the nations: "Rise up! Let us rise against her for battle!" Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?" Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the LORD. If thieves came to you, if plunderers came by night-- how you have been destroyed!-- would they not steal only enough for themselves? If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings? How Esau has been pillaged, his treasures sought out! All your allies have driven you to your border; those at peace with you have deceived you; they have prevailed against you; those who eat your bread have set a trap beneath you-- you have no understanding.
Will I not on that day, declares the LORD, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of Mount Esau? And your mighty men shall be dismayed, O Teman, so that every man from Mount Esau will be cut off by slaughter. Because of the violence done to your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever.

On the day that you stood aloof, on the day that strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them. But do not gloat over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune; do not rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin; do not boast in the day of distress. Do not enter the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; do not gloat over his disaster in the day of his calamity; do not loot his wealth in the day of his calamity. Do not stand at the crossroads to cut off his fugitives; do not hand over his survivors in the day of distress. For the day of the LORD is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head. For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations shall drink continually; they shall drink and swallow, and shall be as though they had never been.
But in Mount Zion there shall be those who escape, and it shall be holy, and the house of Jacob shall possess their own possessions. The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau,
for the LORD has spoken. Those of the Negeb shall possess Mount Esau, and those of the Shephelah shall possess the land of the Philistines; they shall possess the land of Ephraim and the land of Samaria, and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
The exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negeb. Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

treasure ?

as the word treasure came to mind
i wonder ... what is true treasure
as i found the site torah class .. been diligently hearing and reading the notes of the OT class

indeed it is treasure as i found truth and still digging more as i go thru the chapter by chapter teaching
it has expounded i cause me to find more understanding of Faith in God
the will of God the work of God
Yes a treasure indeed ... the scripture - word of God  - truth

many people who heard him say these things trusted in himSo Yeshua said to the Judeans who had trusted him, "If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim, (disciple)  you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

this came to my mind .. is this the treasure that i have found
what if the "investment " doesn't come to pass
if i were to make a choice between "worldly wealth" or the treasure of God's Truth

Yes i will choose God's Truth.  All Praise to YHWH
