God in the Rock
Psalm 105:41
He opened the rock, and water gushed out; like a river it flowed in the desert. NIV
That’s a picture of God’s provision for His people, Israel. In the forty years of their wandering through the wilderness, a dry and barren land where there were no pools, no rivers, no streams, where water was almost non-existent. God provided water for them in abundance. He provided it in a most unlikely way. He provided it out of a rock.
When you look at a rock in the desert as I’ve looked at it countless times, it seems so hard, so unyielding, so little good could come out of it. But in the disguise of the rock we understand that God Himself was with the people. God Himself was the rock and out of Himself there came His provision for His people in abundance.
It was important that Israel knew how to approach the rock. At one time Moses was commanded to strike it. At another time he was commanded to speak to it, and when he approached the rock in faith and obedience, out of that seemingly hard and unyielding rock there came an abundance of water that flowed like a river in the desert.
It’s often so in our lives, where in a time of barrenness when provision seems lacking, but God is there. He’s there in the form of a rock. He’s there in a form of something that seems hard and unyielding, something that we could complain about. But when we recognize God in it and approach Him in faith and obedience, then the rock becomes the source of our provision. - Derek Prince

1King 17
You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there."
So he went and did according to the word of the LORD. He went and lived by the brook Cherith that is east of the Jordan.
And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land. Then the word of the LORD came to him, ..........
Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you."
Behold the Lord God is our provider

Every Day Is A Good Day
Let me share with you a strategy I use to avoid being flooded with feelings of gloom, depression and fear.
Every day is a good day.
But when I'm experiencing a day full of frustrations,
I don't call it a bad day, I call it an "interesting" day.
This habit keeps me From being overwhelmed With negative emotions.
Why does this work?
Repetitive thoughts and words create feelings.
Those feelings create a positive or Negative behavior pattern.
If I tell myself it's a bad day, I began to feel defeated and exhausted.
If my day has one issue after another, If I tell myself it's an "interesting" day.
This keeps me open to gratitude, hope, solutions, Resiliency, and sometimes even a sense of humour.
I try to monitor my words when I'm feeling in a slump so I can avoid those
"knot in your stomach - stressful - anxious - Sickening - I'm losing it" feelings.
I had one of those "interesting" days recently
And reminded myself to stop,Do some deep breathing and re-group.
If you're having an "interesting" day,
Let these words minister to you. Sometimes the children are screaming,
The boss is irritating, The traffic is slow and The bill collectors won't go.
Sometimes you feel strong and confident.
Sometimes you're full of regrets and wonder where all the time went.
Sometimes you feel like you want to give up.
Sometimes you're too tired to move 'cause you have so much to do.
Sometimes you're lonely and wonder if love will ever come.
Sometimes you're glad to be alone to think your own thoughts.
Sometimes life is easy and sometimes hard.
Today be grateful that you've come this far.
Breathe in peace, faith and hope.
All the answers...I do not know. But I'm here to say,
count your blessings. Don't give up. You can make it.
Little miracles happen each day.
Don't miss them because you're focusing On your pain, frustrations and fears.
Constantly work on the five main things you need to live in peace and harmony
1) faith,
2) family and friends,
3) finances,
4) good health and
5) your life purpose.
Without these in your life... Life can drive you crazy.

When God calls you into a new endeavor you will find that God will anoint you in areas you considered your weakest traits. God turns shepherds like Moses into leaders of nations. He turns farmers like Gideon into reformers. He turns impetuous and unstable personalities like Peter into leaders that can transform a culture and lead a movement.
Whenever God does a new thing in a life, those who knew them before notice the change. Quiet people become bold. Poor speakers learn to become great communicators. Those who were never leaders before become the new leaders. This is the way of God. When God looks at an individual, He looks at their future, not their past. He is always looking at the person He has created you to become, not the person you are now. When Samuel anointed the young shepherd boy, David, to be the next king of Israel, it would be years before this would happen. However, God already knew who he was to become.
How does God view your life? What is the destiny He has chosen you to fulfill?

what do you see?
the author explain the moment of shares price with the picture on the left. a boy walking up hill with a yoyo.
if we focus on the day to day price moment it is like we are looking at the yoyo up and down, up and down and we get upset when the price of the share goes down for the day. we miss seeing that though the yoyo is going up and down the boy is still constantly going uphill.
How often in our walk we focus on the daily yoyo swing but focusing on the daily problem and issue ,thus losing focus on God .
Prayer
Dear God, So many things just look impossible. Sometimes I wonder how I will make it through this journey or how will we survive ? But, when I stop concentrating on the problem and look to You and Your promises, I am relieved. For I know that all things are possible through You. You are in control and will make all things work to the good for those who love You. Thank You for those promises and for the "breath of fresh air" I feel in knowing You are here with me, for me, and in me through Your Holy Spirit. In Yeshuah' name, amen. Wednesday, November 11, 2009
picking fruits
"So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant"
(Josh 24:13).
When something unusual happens in our daily life experience it is a time to tune in to your spiritual antennae. God is often at work. So, I prayed, "Lord, what are you saying through this?" The answer came quickly: "I have called you to walk a specific path. I will bring the fruit to you. All you will have to do is pick it up and stay on my path for you. That is what it means to abide in Me."
(Josh 24:13).
The people of Israel conquered the Promised Land as a result of obedience, not sweat, toil, or natural talent. In our work life call, He desires to give us fruit from our calling when we fulfill the unique purpose for which God made us.
